Goin Bonkers!!!
Yeah yeah!! don't worry...i've not disappeared yet...at least not entirely...LOL.......It's just been the 1st week in Uni and i'm mugging like its the end of the course!! Yeah u heard tat right...i'm studying almost freakin day....even on weekends!!You won't believe the amount of assignments and test that are piling up and is due very soon....next week to be exact....and the fact tat i'm STILL up at this hour...(it's 2:20am now)... shows how much of work i've been doing. I'm almost like a zombie these days.... i've got sooooo many of readings to do......(*faints*)...........Oh by the way...my first module tat i'm takin now is called Consumer Behaviour...it's part of my Marketing Major that i'm takin for my BCom...... My lecturer is some chinese cum indian fellow who clearly a freakin extroverted character....he's like MR. BEAN cum Ali. G....ie is according to some of my fellow classmates....i agreed with em....coz he's so loud and goofy.....BUT....oh yesh....there's a but to tat......... due to the fact tat he tries to paint such a beautiful picture of each lecture topic...he tends to rattle a lil too much rather than cover all the slides for tat topic......he'll tell so many stories relating to tat topic....& then it's like always the last portion of the lecture, he'll like ZOOM so fast through the slides..... that ends up with alot of BLANK looks in the class.....esp with those foreign students who's proficiency in English ain't quite up to par.......poor thing man..... as it is i feel so LOST...can u imagine wat wld will be goin through their minds..... It's clear that those students don't often quite get what my lecturer Mr. Lee is sayin...coz everytime he ask em a qns....they'll just shrug their shoulders or say "i don't know"....sometimes i really feel 4 em man...but sometimes i wonder if they really don't get wat on planet earth he's sayin or it's just tat they don't want to open their mouth.....It's nt as though they are a quite bunch....they can be quite chatty....but it's just tat they prefer conversing in their native tongue rather than in english.....Hiaz....anyway i'll have alot of stuff to update ya'll abt...good & bad stuff tat happen to me recently....but i'm goin to catch some beauty sleep 4 now...haven't had a decent sleep since school started.........So time to go to LA LA LAND...........Night Night!!!!!!!! No wait.......it's morning already....so.... GOOD MORNING DARLINS!!!!!! LOL..........

No Billy 4 now...& I dread tmrw!!
Aite! I know it's been a couple of days since my last entry....forgive me for that please. I've been really busy helping my parents and aunt out with some preparations for my cousin's wedding . And oh! for the next month....i will miss my brother...only for the sole reason tat i wldn't have any1 to bully (*i'm evil i know...hahah*) ... as he'll be away...travellin to various parts of INDIA with my aunt,uncle, cousins and nieces for the wedding. DAMN IT!! i cld have gone on that trip with em if it wasn't for the start of term in Uni. It's always one hell of fun when u're travelling with those particular relatives of mine....they're SUPER UBER FREAKIN FUNNY...........But then again.........i never really dared to travel to India....i mean don't get me wrong...i wld love to go the place when my ancestors came from.....however...i think i'll fuss about the hygiene and all............as it is yesterday my dad called my brother to check on him..and my brother was tellin him tat he's been swamped by a fleet of mosquitoes in a famous 5 star hotel. POOR BILLY!!! Anyway.....tmrw..........oh tmrw....i kindda dread tmrw actually.......coz it's the start of my first day in lecture. I'm totally freakin out now coz i'm worried sick abt my groupmates....for those who don't know wat i'm talkin abt....read my entry dated 09Jan. Gosh i hope i can sort those issues out............& for ONCE in my already pitiful and pathetic life...let things go MY WAY please......just this once god!!!!! Pray for me pple...pray tat i'll have a good first day in Uni and with my coursemates & not forgetting my lecturers. ADIOS.......

Home Alone.........

BaCk To ScHooL!!
Oh yesh!! Bet most of ya know by now that Ms Rena is back to school!! Now hold it right there.... I sld stop callin it school man....it's back to Tertiary education.... sounds less kiddish.. LOL... so yeap....time for me to hit the books again...Yesterday I had my orientation, which was relatively okie. I got a chance to see the brand new CITY CAMPUS @ Starhub Building which is way way much better than the previous campus which looked a tad bit dowdy. However being situated near the orchard road vacinity....like AGAIN!!...... i've to travel a lil further than i need to if they hadn't moved to the new campus. A friend of mine commented that i've soo fated to be ard the orchard area coz previously while i was doin my internship i was ALSO working in orchard.....wat a FATE i have eh?!! Guess i'll be stuck there for another 2 years man!!But it's alright.....i'll work it out.... i'm a TROOPER yeah!! Hell yeah!! hahaha... anyhow...during my orientation, i got a chance to meet most if not almost ALL my classmates (*waves disclaimer flag: i'm not against any race or language ah!!*). Like 85% of my classmates are from Mainland China....a couple from Indonesia and about 8 others are Singaporeans. I mean i was a lil shocked at the proportion of locals to foreign students man. To a certain extend i did anticipate that there'll be foreigners...but NOT to this level. The part that surprised me though was the about 4-5 others of the local students were from the poly as i was & even from the same BUSINESS STUDIES course. The only difference was all the various specialization that we all graduated from. Thus, being the sole reason why we cldn't like recognize each other.However, lucky me (*actually i don't believe in luck..*) did recognize one of the NP student who happen to be from the same class as one of my (IS) modules back in poly. Wat a surprise eh!! I was soo delighted to see a familiar face. But the sucky part was that we're not in the same study group. Ya see, when we came for the orientation y-day, we were all pre-grouped. My initial group consisted of two China student,one local and myself. However, the local student in my group wanted to form her own group with some of the other locals who so happen to be her friends too! Wat a bummer man.... for awhile i saw a glimmer of hope tat at least there's a local that i can relate to and can help me like translate or wat man....haiz...so much for tat hope!!I mean don't get me wrong...it's not tat i don't like my current group mates, they seem to be polite pple. It's just tat i'm really concern about the language barrier man. As it is y-day while tryin get their contact details, i had such hard time tryin to explain tat i'll add em on MSN instead of me giving out my email...& they were both like HUH?? like they started to speak to me in like a mixture of mandarin & broken english. I guess we all had hard to just communicating for just a basic thing. Can u image when it comes down to doin presentations and projects?? OH MY GODNESS!! I really don't know how i'm goin to converse with them in the long run man. I really hope that i'll be able to handle this situation well.... GOD SAVE me!!!

FirSt PoSt Of 2007!!
It's a brand new year...and i'm sick like one sick lil puppy.....nah not sick in the head ahh!! i meant literally sick..... I'm getting just a tee wee better now....but still haven't fully recovered. Ya know i better write a good and cheerful post or else i'll most probably end up writing all my sob stories for the rest of the year here....NO NO!! i'm NOT goin to let tat happen... Coz i've a VERY high tendency to jinx myself these days...so i gotta be careful wat i say and/or do.Ya know i NEVER quite understood why pple make 'New Year Resolutions'. I mean which pain-in-the-ass created tat ah???!!!!!!!!! It's like with every turn of a brand new year...it's tat same ol' shit again. U're bound to hear some1 go "Oh my New Year Resolution this year is to......" blah blah blah.......... I just don't get it pple..... sorry.... i mean why do u need like a New Year to make resolutions?? U make a resolution at ANY point in time of the year can't ya?? Please don't get me wrong......it's not tat i'm bitching abt this or anything....it's just something tat i've been pondering about....as to why pple make it such a who-ah abt it......... (*gives tat puzzled look*)Seriously i think at the start of every new year....i think the most commonly used terminology wld surely have to be the word 'resolution'..... It's like everywhere i go or any1 i've spoken to so far has used tat term alone like more often than they wld use the word "GOOD MORNING" or "THANK YOU" in a month!! Maybe i wld prefer if ppl just found another word to replace tat terminology. Like... "my wish"....., "wat i want to achieve this year..." or "i hope tat this year...."....ya get wat i'm tryin to say right?? or have i lost ya??An aunt of mine once told me tat the prime purpose of pple to make 'New Year Resolutions' is to like give em something to look forward to and work towards tat......Well......tat's sort of a politically correct answer....but wat i think is tat the prime purpose of pple to make 'New Year Resolutions' is to BREAK THEM!!!!!!!! hahaha..... it's sooo true ain't it...i mean honestly tell me how many of u truly abide by the resolutions tat u've made for tat particular year....huh?? huh?? No right.....or even if u did....bet it was like a mental struggle for ya eh?? Shessh why torture yaself....take it one step at a time and don't put pressure on urself alrighty??Ok....i hope this was a fruitful, thought provoking and interesting first post in Ms Darkangel's blog. Do look out more of such post from me this year....i'm goin to try my VERY best to change the tone of my blog and SPICE each entry up a lil more.
