LoST tOuCH WiTh A GoOd ReST....
Well if u haven't heard it through the grapevine by now..... just let me tell ya that I've been HIRED!! Oh yesh...Missy Rena is now been thrown into the LION'S DEN..... or rather the REAL WORLD.....whahahhAnyway i just wanted to Thank ALL my close frenz....pple like Yixin, Deb, Cheryl, Sze Yee & the rest (ya'll know who u are)..... Coz u guys were with me almost everystep for the way.... I truly appreciate ya LOVE, CONCERN & MORAL SUPPORT.....
Though this might not necessarily be the actual current field of job that i wanted to get into...it's still alone the line of ONE of the two dream jobs i wanted to venture into.
I'm hired as a SPORTS & OPERATIONS DEVELOPMENT Executive (SODE) in a company called ESPZEN & BBAXN. Ain't sure if the boys have heard of it b4....but apparently any avid football or basketball teams/players in S'pore ought to know this company. Honestly speaking I've NEVER even heard of this company till I sign up for this job... but it's kindda cool though....
Ya'll know how much i LOVE events management and this job does involve that aspect of it. Basically it's a company that organizes amateur football & basketball leagues all around Singapore. I've to be a team manager for certain teams tat don't have their own managers. That's just tip of the iceberg of the job scope tat i've just told ya'll....there's WAYYYY much more tat i'm required to do.....
I really wish i can tell u all tat i've experienced on just the first week but just let me give u a brief idea as to how much i had to literally work my ASS off just on the freakin first week itself.... brace urself peeps:-
Monday----- Went to work at 9am....and learnt the ropes of the current SODE, Karyn whom i'll be replacing... Learnt wayyy too much for the 1st day alone. Went back home @ 6 plus pm... work is suppose to be from 9am to 6pm.
Tuesday----- Went to work @ 9.30 am coz i realized the SODE's come in super late. (There's only Karyn and Shima who are the SODEs) Learnt more things and already had to use the knowledge of wat i learnt from the previous day. Hands-on training given. Attended the start of the Men's Basketball League. Witnessed one of the worst possible case of a brawl between referees and players. Mind u this is just the 1st match for the 1st time on my job & already i had to see such a horrible situation. Went home only @ 11pm.
Wednesday----- Did more hands on training with Karyn and had to speak to alot of team managers and players. Went home at ard 8pm plus.
Thursday-------- Followed Shima to the Singapore Sports Council with my director (*a british dude who talk a lil too fast man....can't understand his accent*) for a meeting. Went home ard 7.30pm
Friday----------- Did more and more stuff... Till i almost went KUKU...coz there's wayyy too much things to do. Attended a lunch meeting with my director, which was a rather stressful lunch. Finished work ard 8pm plus and the best part of the whole day was the fact tat i got to see MY GIRLS....!!!!!!! Gosh i'm almost abt to break into tears now...coz i can't even begin to tell u girls how FREAKIN happy i was to see u all..... I was tryin my best not to break down infront of any of u...coz i didn't want to spoil the joy we had... THANKS DEB, YIXIN, SZE YEE & CHERYL... & oh Haddad and Gerald too!!!!!!!!
Saturday---------- Yesh i freakin work on Sat too... LOL... but it's ok lah..... Rushed down to ACS Barker with cheryl (*thanx for coming with me...hope u had fun*) to see the basketball matches. Karyn who was the team manager for a particular Basketball team had a lil sentimental goodbye as she was really close to all the fellows.... So she said her peace and intoduced me to the fellows... trust me ya'll i was soo freakin nervous...coz i didn't know if they'll like me or have a good first impression. Well they all welcomed me and some even came up to me personally and wished me the best....So guess tat was a good start...........

NeW SkiN!!!!!!!!
Ok pls don't get frightened by the title of my blog post.... I've not undergone any plastic surgery or anything eh...hahah... Wat i meant to say is tat i'm looking for a new BLOGSKIN....... i'm a lil sick and tired of seeing the current one i have now....I know ALOT of u have the tendency to change ya blogskins like super uber fast...soo pls hear me out pple.... can u guys sent me some links to some nick blogskins... Aite...i'm outta here....sorry i've nt blog 4 quite some time....have been really FREAKIN busy with my new relatives from overseas........It's a tough job being a good HOST man......... i've lost more weight than b4.... my parents say i look like a bag of BONES..... argghhh they're soo bad... BOO HOO!!!! It's nt tat i WANT to lose weight wat... u think i have nothing else better to do ahh... i've been tryin soo hard to put on the pounds...but it ain't workin!! Any tips my darlins??!!
